GroundHawg Oops almost forgot...if it doesn't start, jump it. If it STILL doesn't start, probably need a new alternator as well.

You live where it's hot or go muddin'? Those things are hell on alternators.

I'm banking it's just an old battery that can't hold a charge. Go get it tested. It's free

Mechanical Question

I'm not sure if this topic belongs in this thread, so I apologize in advance...

Anyways, I have a 97 Wrangler and I was driving it tonight and the radio slowly shut off and then the dashboard lights started to dim. Could this be an alternator issue? Battery?

Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.
