beachnjeep well dang I'm in Florida, Tampa bay area. no oil yet. Yes I meant the rims are 12" wide. I think I'm going to do the shackles first, since it seems like the easiest and then the tires for the driveability. Then last if needed the body lift kit for the fine tune. thanks

hannahuffster Will a 12.50 mount on a 12 inch wide wheel?

KawiTJ he's saying the wheels are 12" wide I think... Wanna trade for a set of 31s? on 15x8

hannahuffster First I would ditch the lift shackles if you want better road conditions. Stock shackles are 4" if I remember right. You could probably go up to a local 4 wheel drive shop and pick up a stock set for free (or very little money). I dont understand what you mean by your rim measurement. 33 X 12.50 tires looks like they are on 15 inch wheels, should be 15 X 10's. Drop 2 inches out of your body lift and go with a 31 X 10.50 tires (would have to go to a 15 X 8 inch wheel though).

Ideas on lowering jeep. its about 10" high over stock now

I'm thinking of making my jeep more of a daily driver. (3-4 times a week) Right now it sits on a
4" Rough Country suspension lift which will stay,
3" body lift
These long shackles that are 6.5 center bolt to center bolt on the front and back rear.
12.5 33.5 Pro comp mudders on 12" rims.

So I'm thinking of doing it in stages and see how I like it.
are the shackles too long? Will it really drop a lot if I go to a shorter one or does it give some levrage and better ride?
3" body lift probably drop too a 1"
Tires maybe 10.5 30.5 on 8-10" rims.

Now why, well my wife has been ill and still likes to ride but it really is hard for her to get in and out.

last choice is just sell it and buy a stock one.
