jr. yes i will always be a chuck fan but i think when rampage knocked him out he broke something loose . he is still a tough guy but i think other fighters have figured out his game .

jpdocdave rampage was the first time he was ever knocked out. that was the beginning of the end. he is worthy of his hall of fame status, he will always be one of the best.

KBR97 Hes been knocked out in 3 of his last five fights too... Rampage, Rashad, and Shogun all stopped him with KO.

Chuck has fought some of the best, he has beaten some of the best and he will always be one of the best..

Now I wonder what would have happened if Ortiz never backed out. Who would have won? Would Ortiz have been able to avenge his losses to the Iceman?? With both of them being past they're "prime"....

VolForce I know "Ace" worked out hard for this fight....he had started a new training regime already, so when Ortiz backed out, Franklin was fresh and ready. They are both awesome fighters!!

cavediverjc He's done. It's definitely sad to see him go as a fighter, but he'll stay with the UFC in some capacity. Dana said that Chuck will always have a job in the UFC if he wants it. Yahoo News had a good write-up about the fight this morning. Check it out......

The Iceman

so is the iceman done? i didn't get to see the fight, but he got knocked out by franklin.

i just saw the square off pic at the weigh in, chuck looked in his best shape ever. its a shame, i'd like to see him hang in there, but it looks like the game has passed him up. he was one of the best. but he's lost what, 5 of his last 6 now?
