Blaster keeps asking all these questions everywhere and makin' me change stuff.
First I aired down to 25 street because of his dumb psi question, now I'm think about dropping in some chromo shafts in my 30 and locking it up
the rear with trac-loc, BLD, and 2 clicks of the e-brake do awesome, but that damn front could use something

|thaduke2003||^ Yep. Lunchbox and auto lockers aren't streetable for most folks- very much so a trail-only, unless you're used to it. I'm fairly hardcore, and even then, no thanks Mark W.|

Ya I wasn't going
to even think about it but wasn't sure if you had the tools/experience etc. The rear is all I can afford for Now and that's a great price IMO! I'll see what my shop says on install $

I got a smoking deal on the front, but the rear was $630 or so, shipped, from 4WS.com
These are NOT something you can install yourself if you have to ask It requires specialty tools, a press, and a lot of patience. I paid $300 per axle to have mine installed- Mark W.

I've had great success with the Auburn ECTED- simple to wire up, and great support. A limited slip when not in use, so you get a bit more traction in daily driving (nice up here in snow country), and a locker at the flick of a switch.
I recommend saving up and spending the money right the first time. Adding a locker would also be the best time to re-gear, since you're in there anyway. I re-geared, and added front and rear lockers (don't do front and rear ECTED's, by the way- dual LSD's is a bit tricky), 4.88's, and all new bearings (don't be cheap and try to re-use your old ones- get the full rebuild kits!)- cost me a pretty penny, but one shot, and done!
Also, make sure your gears and rebuild kits are JK specific! And do NOT let anyone tell you the 3.91+ carrier is what you need, regardless of gears- the JK Dana 44 rear ONLY takes the 3.73 and down carriers! TRUST ME Mark W.

Looking to add rear locker!
On my unltd sahara. I saw the thread on this already but it came to a quick halt without much info. I don't have the cash for an air locker but definitely don't want a full time locker for obvious reasons. What do you guys recommend? Manual/electric prices etc. I'm looking to do some pretty serious mudding which is why I'm installing a winch this week.
