beachnjeep The evap is inside the whole assembly with the controls and vents that fits under the dash, very easy to install. Maybe the newer jeeps have the evap inside the dash

deathphoenix99 a/c bypass pulley? Instead of the a/c compressor, there's an idler pulley in it's place to keep the belt routed the same. Just my guess. And adding a/c isn't hard, just harder on Jeeps because the evaporator is in the dash. On some vehicles, everything is under the hood.

RSC17 found a complete system for about 500 bucks in the cleveland craigslist. almost got it but decided not to. I can't comment on the 'ac bypass' but it sounds like it's something just taking place of the ac system in the engine bay? just a guess.

beachnjeep I think somebody was selling one from a 88 wrangler here on this forum. Its pretty easy as it fits under the dash and its a self contained unit.

Adding AC to 94

I was just given a 94 wrangler and my wife is asking how hard it would be to put AC in. I tried to search but came up with nothing. I have seen the kits online but wanted to get your advice. My jeep have the "ac bypass" what does this mean. Thanks for your help in advance.
