May i suggest we run Holcomb creek 1st. that way if stuff comes up it wont start getting late on us. Butler peak will take a good couple hours. time flys when were having fun.
We can run the trail backwards, from green valley lake side to big bear. just take 3n14 out of fawskin to 3n16 to holcomb creek/lower larga. then 3n16 to butler.

Sure thing tiny, no problem.
Hey, I have a question for everybody. Would anyone mind if we bumped it out an hour and meet at 9:30 instead of 8:30? My son would like to join us, but he doesn't get off work in Fulerton until 7:30. He wants to hook up with me in Riverside on the way up. Thanks.

I'll be there. Can I park in your driveway and honk a million times???

|04-15-2007 12:35 PM|
I'm going. I've got your info and believe you have mine as well.
Who is going to come by for lunch/dinner/bevs afterwards?
|04-15-2007 12:33 PM|
|tiny terror||What time do you want me to show up at your door? Or do you want to meet at Starbucks so you can get your coffee fix?|
|04-15-2007 12:27 PM|
|Unlimited||Fire station works for me. We'll meet at 8:30 and plan to hit the trail by 9:00 incase there are any straglers. I'll be on CB-3. If you are going, PM me and I'll send you my cell number.|
|04-15-2007 11:36 AM|
|RedRubiTJ||Eric, are you staying with us?|
|04-15-2007 11:28 AM|
Was gonna say the same thing. Fire station in Fawnskin works for me. 8:30 sounds early, especially since I'll have my youngest with me, but it will work.
|04-15-2007 01:04 AM|
|Rawkon||if were gonna meet in fawnskin what about in front of the fire station. its a big open lot. we can air down and disco the swaybars there??? Ill be up there friday night as well and 8:30 sounds good to me.|

|JeepGuyLJ||I think im going to make it i will let u guys know next weekfor sure.|
|04-14-2007 12:32 PM|
I agree, it's time to firm things up.
Meeting time: Is everyone good with 8:30?
Meeting place: Since most of us are coming up the hill on Saturday morning, I'd like to avoid driving into Big Bear and then back around the lake to Fawnskin where the trail head is. How about we meet in front of the park in Fawnskin?
Tiny, you can follow me up. For everyone else not familure with the area, (in my opinion) the best route to get up there is: 215N to 30E to 330 to 18. Go north at the damn on 38 into Fawnskin. You guys up in Big Bear would probably know the best way better than I do.

MOG- I just checked this thread and, even though late, would like to offer my condolences as well. We lost my stepdad last year and it hits hard.
Like you said, your dad's in a better place and at peace. Take care of you and yours and you'll get by.
