Sandman6160 Ok gentlemen. Thanks for all the advice. Quadrated told me the Skyjacker bracket will not work with my jeep. Supposely the product only works to model year 2004. So I have decided to make my own bracket and add lenght to compensate for TC drop (to reduce vibes on a 4" lift) and a 1" body lift. I'll post pictures of the brackets when I am done and the final product. I'm stationed in Okinawa so I don't have a machine shop readily available.

Moab Man That bracket is to drop the t-case linkage 1" to accomodate a t-case drop or for a 1" body lift. If you both then you have a bit of an issue. In that case I would suggest you get the Skyjacker bracket to get the t-case linkage off the body tub and mounted to the transmission.

RedRubiTJ Although they are less than a mile from my home, I am not very familiar with Fabtech's products, but I am guessing that you have their 4" Performance System and it required a TC drop and gave you a different bracket for linkage? If this is correct then the best thing to do would be a MML in conjunction with the BL to adjust for TC position shift. This may work, but to be honest every Jeep is different in regards to this and where some have no problems other do. If my supposition is incorrect please inform us of specifics and we may be able to help you out better.

The suspension lift really has nothing to do with the TC position unles you drop it to alleviate drive line vibes.

binaryking Can you possibly show us a picture of the bracket you are talking about?

4" FABTECH Suspension and 1" Body lift

Gentlemen, how do I accomodate a 1" body lift to a TJ with a 4" suspension lift? The issue I am running into is the trasfer case bracket I installed with the 4" suspension lift...the body kit also has a relocation bracket, but it does not account for the 4" drop in the suspension. Do I need to go to a machine shop and make a custom transfer case bracket? I'm military stationed overseas so my options are somewhat limited. Thanks in advance!
