ashevilleyjmike jayc,
There's hotels in Black Mtn....Comfort Inn, Super8
Black Mountain Hotels, Motels - North Carolina NC - Black Mountain Hotel Discounts

Here's a nice B&B which would be cool.
Treehaven Bed and Breakfast, Black Mountain, North Carolina near Asheville

It would be close to 4 hours drive to Blk. Mountain.

EdJonesJeeper Looks Like a lot of guys are willing to show from and trail blazers if it's at Oles'
Their moving into their new building very soon and I'll keep updated if the address has changed but from what I understand it's next to the old one.

100 South Ridge Avenue, 28711 is the address.

Maybe we can even get a trail ride together the next day.

jayc I'm out in Raleigh but down to head that way for a good time. I'm assuming they have hotels to choose from out there that'll be close to where we'll be partaking in adult beverages? I looked it up I think it's about a 3 hr trip, am I right? As far as location, never been there so no help from me sorry, cheapest drinks and serve food. Food doesnt have to be great, that comes with the more you drink.

EdJonesJeeper For sake of having the biggest crowd... Lets do Ole's Guacomoles in Blk mountain.
July 17 at 4 pm. If the owners are fellow wheelers we should help support their habits!

For Directions :Google Maps

I'm down for another date to met others that can't attend or want to attend both at the Wedge or Ruby's!

ashevilleyjmike Forgot to mention that Wedge does have a food vendor set up in the parking lot on the weekends. Haven't eaten it personally.
Good idea on the Blk. Mountain place, maybe AppState dude would come.

ashevilleyjmike I'm down! Might be out of town that weekend, not sure yet.

I vote for Wedge. I like Ruby's, but you're right the lot is real small and the other one is far away.

Asheville Meet and Greet

Whose down for a Meet and Greet? I'm trying to get something scheduled for July 17. I'm thinking maybe around 4pm or so and have some areas in mind.

Hooters-- Outdoor area and parking close by (So we can gawk at the Jeeps)

The Wedge-- Outdoor area parking close in dirt and good local beer (total
plus) Disadvantage is no food and lots of prii (prius plural)

Ruby's BBQ shack-- Outdoor area with games, killer food, killer beers
Dis is that parking lot in front is small and other parking is
too far away to do more gawking

"Oles Guacomoles" ---in Blk Mountain to Bring in more Eastern
Jeepers(Never been, only been told they are 4x4 friendly)
