Does the label on the bottle of gear lube you used say it is compatible with limited slip differentials? A limited slip differential we call a Tracloc here in the U.S. (apparently Canada calls it a "Suregrip"? ) uses a clutch pack which requires a limited slip additive called a friction modifier.
Most gear lubes already contain that friction modifier additive but not all do. If it does contain the required additive, the back label (again) will say that it is compatible with limited slip differentials. If the label does not indicate that, you need to add 4 oz. of friction modifier additive that pretty much any auto parts store should carry. Don't add more than 4 oz. if the gear lube you used doesn't have the required additive.

I don't think a simple fluid change would have caused this. Is it possible there is some other contamination in the differential? Consider taking the cover off to ensure there's nothing in there and then doing a full fluid exchange.
When was the last time the fluid was changed? When you first changed out the fluid did it appear there were any leaks? How "dirty" was the used fluid? How much build up was there on the magnet?

Rear end noise after changing fluid
I changed the rear end fluid in my 2002 Jeep TJ. It has a suregrip rear end.
I changed from the regular 80W90 weight oil to synthetic 75W90.
I pumped it out. I did not take the covers off the diff's
The noise coming from the rear end during accelerated turns was very unnerving.Brought it back into the garage and changed back to the normal 80W90 and the noise went away for about 2 weeks.
It is now starting to come back. I can hear it again starting under the same conditions.
Anyone have a clue of what it could be? Should I have the suregrip additive in the rear end?
