cavediverjc Here's a link to the Blue Torch Fabworks front bumper I just installed a couple of days ago. It fit perfectly and it's super-beefy. Comes with two d-ring mounts as well. And shipping didn't cost me a dime. 4wd.com was running a special......free shipping. Call them, they might still have that special going on right now. I'll see if I can upload some pics of my finished, installed front bumper. I went ahead and installed their rear bumper as well. Couldn't be happier with how they fit and how they're built.

Helluva nice bumper for $189......

catITguy I vote Warn, but Im bias. Love mine - tough and fairly aggressive without going over the top. Just my $.02.

McGridDLe im not sure about the SRC, but the XRC has a really nice powder coat finish.. whatever you choose, its gonna look great!

edmond I had the Warn on my Jeep for years, never had any complaints, I would also look at the Savvy bumper, they are light weight and around $350....

TJSportGirl McGridDLe: Ok, I really liked the look of the smittybilt SRC front bumper. Plus it's a lot cheaper lol. Thank you for the advice.

TJSportGirl Thank you for the info as I'm looking not for stainless steel, but the either glossy black texture. Though I will take a look at the smittybilt bumpers later tonight.

McGridDLe it really depends on your taste in bumpers. I have a smittybilt XRC front bumper that just came in today.. Smittybilt makes a lot of cheaper versions of other things, but I think their bumpers are very very well built. I also have the XRC rear bumper and with all of the reenforcement that goes under it, that thing has to be close to indestructable. I also really like the look of the bestop highrocks, but I went with the XRC because I wanted a matching set and I liked the rear bumper much better. I'll put up pics once I get it installed.

Ray - San Jose I've got the Rockmen Mercinary on mime, and its worth taking a look at. Winched out a custom rail jobber out of 3 feet of mud using one of my d rings as an anchor last weekend. Very strong and well built. Built in winch plate too, check my profile for pics.

snwchris Check the new BFH or BHF bumpers from Poison Spyder, very sick looking

TJSportGirl I've seen them, but am looking for something a little bit more aggressive looking. I have also looked at the Rugged Ridge XHD Modular bumpers, but I don't know how well they make their bumpers compared to their soft tops.

Ageless Stranger Yours was the first example I've seen. I really like it a lot.

abw0004 Yeah i have the HighRock bumper and absolutely love it. I have had no problems with it and it came with a winch plate. I also bought the stainless steel grille guard

Ageless Stranger I like the Highrock 4X4 by Bestop. The grille guard is optional and can be purchased in either black or brushed stainless.

Looking for a new front bumper

Yep, mine's gone wayside one too many times and now I've done it for sure. I need a new bumper but not sure who you all would recommend. My jeep is a 2000 TJ. I'm looking at a body armor front bumper but don't know a lot about them. The one from them I'm look at is this one: Xtreme TrailGear 59" Front Bumper with 2" Center & 1.5" Hood & Light Guard Hoops by Body Armor and Other Jeep Parts and Jeep Accessories by 4 Wheel Drive Hardware-RH3. Do you think this would be a good somewhat basic front bumper that you would all recommend? Or which other manufacturer would you all go for? I'm wanting to keep it under $500 but one that will last and be durable. I've also heard that ARB and Warn are excellent choices, but haven't found a bumper in either that I've liked.

Thanx
