Thanks for the reply, tdad. I just ordered a draw tite from e-trailer plus the wiring as per their recommendation.

Tdad I have a Drawtite class III hitch (2" #41531) for a TJ that's for sale. Not sure where you're located, but it would probably be more to ship than I'm asking for it, which is $50.
It mounts to existing holes in the side of the frame rails as well as with 2 existing bolts under the frame rails. If you have somebody to help you hold/position it, you can install it in 10 minutes.
I think most of them do not require drilling.
Can't help you with the wiring part, I just used it for a bike rack and recovery point.

Jeep Wrangler Unlimited hitch info.

Am seeking some advice concerning a hitch receiver and wiring for a 2004 Unlimited. Have checked most of the suppliers and know there are several options. Don't want to drill or splice. Will be pulling a lightweight 4x8 utility trailer. If anyone has any comments would appreciate hearing from you in regard to installation tips, etc. Thanks, Spiderwebil
