|smitty58||Thanks, I'll back the pressure down to see if that helps. If not I will be changing shocks ,or I'll have to wear a helmet so I don't knock myself out on the rollcage.|

The ES 3000 are hydraulic shocks. The same that I am running in my YJ. Is the lift a shackle lift or spring lift? Also, what kind of PSI do you have in your tires. The YJ is not really a heavy vehicle and you can reduce the air pressure a bit. I tend to run about 32 psi in my tires.

|smitty58||Thanks, the shocks are pro comp es3000. I don't know anything about shocks but would like a little less stiff ride.|

|flatline||shock might be nitrogen filled, a little stiffer than stock. and if you want a softer ride replace the lift with Old man Emu lift.|

post some pics of the suspension and side view of the jeep, lots of variables to deal with, that will help narrow things down.
and it ain't gonna ride soft.

Too stiff suspension
Just bought a 95 yj, it has a 2 1/2 inch lift. Looks like just a spacer. The guy told me it had new shocks but man this thing is very stiff, too stiff really. What might be the problem and how to I fix it?
