I didn't take many pics, but you can see the box on my build thread before the cover was put on and some details about how it was made. <<LINK>>

YJ interior upgrades revived

Hey all.
Its been quit awhile since I've posted anything on here. I wanted some ideas on interior upgrades and thought I would post a few of mine. A friend at work just got a TJ and I really like what jeep did with the shift counsel and dash and door panels. I thought that some of that my be able to retrofit over to the YJ? Anybody had the same idea?
Top left is a leather shift cover which makes a major difference for cold weather shifting. top right is the same. The bottom pick is a lock box. I've also added new roll bar padding, and new grab handles and new seats, a new sound bar.

What size ammo can boxes are those? I want to do the same, or some type of tool box mount on the fender wells like that.

mijeeper80 Ok I know it's not my yj but I gotta show this off n I can't post in cherokee forum for some reason. But in all honesty this is what I am lining the inside of my hardtop on my yj in a few weeks anyways so it somewhat applys. Camo headliner and custom visors will be done the same in my yj as well

Mowrangler I had a little scrap diamond plate and did this.

Thanks. The only thing missing was a diesel engine. It was a pretty cool jeep. Wish I still had it.

I did the same thing and I'm very happy with mine. I bought at superbrightleds.com. Be sure to get the 360 degree lights. They help light up the entire gauge. My jeep is blue so I bought blue LEDs. They look great with the white gauge faces that I bought from whitegauges.net

They're just stock gauges but the LED back lights make a huge difference.
