|KBR97||Yup...you cant go bigger without lifting or cutting the fenders.|
|07-03-2010 10:02 PM|
|kevinss2001||if there is no lift--then is 33x12.5 the biggest tire you can fit on a stock jeep?|
|07-03-2010 12:50 PM|
|KBR97||x2 they look like factory shocks to me... dont see any poly spacers either.|
|07-03-2010 09:42 AM|
|GroundHawg||I say no lift. I don't see any spacers. the springs and shocks look stock to me.|

|GroundHawg||you better go back to that retard salesman and tell him to give you $700 for a lift or knock it off the price|
|07-01-2010 10:16 PM|
ok I have some pics--the first 3 are of the front of the jeep and the last 2 are of the rear--let me know what you guys think about what size lift it is??
|06-30-2010 07:47 PM|
looks like a 2 or 2.5 in Budget boost. Whenever you get a chance take a picture of where the top of the spring sits.
Btw..My inner fenders are still intact too, what would installing a lift have anything to do with them??

|TJNewbie||wouldn't it be easier to open the pic with the "paint program" then resize/reskew the numbers from 100% to 50%? it should load just fine afterwards.|

Try this thread... I've been studying it haha

My guess is a 2” lift. I’ve been looking around at pictures of stock jeeps with 33” tires(wanted to make sure it works, that’s what I’m going to do until I get my lift on and the tires are much more snug under the fenders than those of kevinss2001.
I am interested to find out. I also have a silver jeep, and that is pretty much the “look” I’m going for.
|06-30-2010 04:48 PM|
I'd say pics are 100% needed
the only thing I think we all agree on is that no way is that a 4" lift.
|06-30-2010 04:11 PM|
|kevinss2001||it does have 33's on a 15 inch wheel--so what is the verdict?? I will work on pics, but I cannot promise how quick I will get them.|

Heh Heh, I've been called a 'RARE ONE' before !!
Measurements before and after, show a 2¾" actual lift in the front and I had to use the inner liners to install the Bushwackers
Those 33" tires are still at 32¾", because I had just got back from Pyramid Lake (just washed) and the tires were still at 26psi
|06-30-2010 02:09 PM|
wow. you're a rare one. maybe it's a local thing. every single lifted jeep I've seen is missing the inner fender. me personally, I was just too lazy to put it back on
looking back and forth between jim's jeep, and the OP's I still can't tell. jim's jeep I know has a 2.5" lift and 33's...but it looks like you've got more room in the well.
did you get 2.5" on the money or a little more?
we need to find a 2 door with 4" lift and 33's lol

One section of the installation instructions for these Bushwackers, is to reconfigure the stock JK fender liners, for complete installation security--
All four installed and all four brakeline relieved !!
Sorry about the exposure, but when I took this pic, 3 months ago, I didn't figure on showing the fender innards !!
|06-30-2010 12:58 PM|
|GroundHawg||I know, but I have yet to see a JK lifted, with that inner fender put back in.|
|06-30-2010 11:41 AM|
Yup, the inner fender liner has nothing to do with the lift, till you go EXTREME
My shocks are visable before/after, which is also why I was able to do the brake line interference fix (fender liner)-after the lift

that could be a 31 or 32...with the space in the well I'd say unlifted then.
I see a shock though, that means no inner fender, which means lifted. I want to see a close up. I'm still guessing budget boost. 4" of lift on 33's looks goofy, and that jeep looks proportioned. 2" or 2.5" if those are indeed 33's.

|jcf||I'm thinking a 2 to 3 inch if anything. Mine has a 4.5 & it looks a lot different to yours, I have 35's. Congrats on the new Jeep!|
|06-30-2010 09:02 AM|
I can't tell by that pic. I want to say it is indeed lifted, but how much I'm unsure.
what's the tire size on the sidewall?
post a pic of the springs, and shocks. It looks like 33's with a budget boost to my eyes. that why I want to see the springs and shocks.
|06-30-2010 06:00 AM|
It's hard to tell if it has a lift or not. If those are 33" tires it is definitely not a 4" lift.
