By the way, I didn't vote for Obama...and he is NOT my president. I will not bow down to him, salute him, or shake his hand. And do you know why? Because this is America and I have that freedom, unless he and his crazy liberal administration try to take it away. Don't like it? Tough.

This is scary. It makes Jeep owner's look like bigots. Has anyone here even checked out the past Presidents. To think that you picked this one to make such a remark about really shows a nasty side. One that doesn't make me proud. As people like you have said to me in the past, "If you don't like it, Pick another country and MOVE!" He is YOUR President, so get over it.

AH HA, I found the problemo...... I didn't have the connector pushed all the way in until it clicked. I pulled out the battery and started to check the wires and the connector and when I pulled on the connector it just pulled apart. Put it back together and this time it "clicked" and the check engine light is now off.

Thanks Guys, I will check it out. I removed the battery to replace the fender, and I do remember plugging it back in. Who knows maybe I forgot to plug it in. I will check it out and let you know.

|Jerry Bransford||Not to mention a missing battery temp sender could cause the alternator to charge the battery too hard/too fast & cause the battery to overheat & potentially come apart (explode). The PCM uses the info from that sender to control how fast the alternator charges the battery so problems like that don't happen.|

^ yep, under the battery.
they aren't that uncommon to go bad and turn on the cel. also common for someone to be in there working on something and disconnect it and forget about it, or even more common is people get p.o'ed trying to disconnect it and it gets damaged. it can cause some weird running and electrical problems from that little sensor.

|Jerry Bransford||The battery temperature sensor is mounted directly underneath the battery. If it's showing the battery is getting too warm, that should be checked into right away. A hot battery can be caused by being charged too rapidly to having shorted cells.|

Check Engine Light / Battery temp sensor
I have an 2004 Wrangler and my check engine light came on. Stopped by the local Autozone and they plugged in thier computerizer and said it was my battert temp sensor?
Has anyone ever heard of this before? And where is it located?
