|reaper_7011||f.y.i. if your new to 4 wheeling the cliffs is not for you boss. they have easy medium and hard trails but those easy trails easily become pretty insane. for a legal spot to dick around in i would recommend the badlands it's about 3 hours away from the o'hare airport|

2) Upload your images to that site, in the options menu tell it to resize to 800x600
3) Copy the [img] line that appears beneath your photo and paste it into your message.

ya, where in illinois. and you need to have some basic preperations to your jeep to trail ride safely.
the cliff's in marseilles is not much of a beginner spot, but the badlands in attica indiana is great because they have plenty of things for all levels, beginners can learn a ton and have a blast, and trail buggies can roll over all day long.

Welcome to the wunnerful world of Jeepin!
It might be a good thing to know where you're located that would help in finding places to go.
One thing I would STRONGLY urge you to avoid is going alone and unprepared. It is SO easy to get in big trouble in a hurry when you're first learning.
Google your area or state for Jeep Clubs. It's a fantastic way to hook up with other like minded folks who can be a great resource for places to go and to have someone to ride with. They will also help you learn what to do, when to do it and with luck what not to do.
There is a lot to learn. What gear to take, learning recovery, how to prepare your rig for going off road, what to do on the trail and so on.
What kind of Jeep did you get?

Places for a beginner to go
Hi everyone, I just brought home my 1st Jeep on Monday and wanted to test out the 4wd and get it dirty. Can anyone recommend a good place to find some beginner trails? I'd need something relatively simple as it's still stock and I won't know what I'm doing. Thanks!
