Job Done, Wiers turn signals
Replaced the turn signal switch yesterday and it resolved the first problem with the selector arm. It was just worn out and needed replaced. As to the right signal causing all 4 lights to blink, there was an incorrect bulb in the socket on the right rear. The correct one takes a staggered prong base and the previous owner tried to use one that was staight across from each other.
Also discovered why I had no tailights. Apparently the jeep has been sitting longer than I thought. There was a spider nest under the copper contact inside the light switch preventing contact when the lights turned on.
Thanks for the replies.

I changed my turn signal switch a couple of months ago. It's not that hard. I took some pics along the way. let me know if you need them.

Wierd turn signals
Left signals work, but do not engage and must be held down when turning. Right signals engage, but all lights blink, left and right. Wiring screw up or signal switch? Ordered a new switch last night. Suggestions appreciated. 1990 YJ, 2.5
