Your Dad adjusting the trac bar could very easily have moved the rear axle to one side, as that is one of the features of an adjustable rear track bar.

|lancetkenyon||A CV DS(drive shaft) has a double cardan joint at the t-case side. Usually installed when you do an SYE(slip yoke eliminator) kit(uses a standard fixed yoke, like at the axle pinion side).|

|jskinn27||uhm not sure what a CV is is ibelieve my driveshaft is stock, i do have a SYE if that matters. also my trackbars are adjustable my dad said he loosend one because when the bracket weld broke, we couldnt get it on unless we losened it.|

Think of the trackbar as the angled line in the letter Z. The Jeep is at the top of the Z and the ground is at the bottom of the Z. As the top of the Z is lifted up, the angled line (trackbar) pulls the bottom over to the side. The taller the lift, the more the trackbar pulls the axle to the side. This happens at the front too.
A trackbar relocation bracket installed onto the driver's side mount or an adjustable length track bar will quickly recenter your rear axle. Do you have an aftermarket CV driveshaft?

Sometimes when you weld it will "draw" in one direction or another but that sure seems like a lot.
Also check your contol arm bushings. If you have one blown out it can let the control arm shift that much. Check the measurements on your control arms from one side to another. Uppers should measure the same side to side, lowers same on each side.

|lancetkenyon||I am betting either you bent a rim or an axle shaft. That would cause a tire wobble and a difference in space between tire and shock. Roll forward and see if the space increases then decreases as you move. Or jack it up and spin your tire and watch it.|

A lift (w/o a trackbar relocator bracket) usually moves the axel the other way... towards the passenger side.
Did you install the lift on your Jeep?
Like jwn said, I'd guess the bracket was outta position when re-welded.

|jwm1986||You lifted? Axles do move from lifts... Could also be that when the bracket was re welded it was off.|

rear end moved bout 1/2 inch?
ok guys...so i went and had some fun in the mud today...i was washing her he mud off the underneath of her and i noticed something odd. my rear passengerside wheel looked to be a little close to the shock. i fit 3 fingers between the tire and shock, i walked to the rear driver side and i did the same thing and i could fit like 5 fngers.
let me add... a month ago i snapped a U bolt, and when my dad and i were installing the driveshaft again, we noticed a bracket welded to the rear end was cracked (the tracbar?) so i got that re-welded bout a week ago. coud this have caused the problem?
when im going on the freeway bout 65 mph thee is a wobble on my passengerside rear tire. could this be the problem?
how bad is this? :/
