1BLKJP Welcome aboard Josh. Glad to have you on here. Try some new shocks with that lift as I have heard they are pretty stiff.

Also thank you for your service to our country.

04moneypit The lift was great, and install wasn't too bad. But to be sure, it really means "rough" country, or street, thing rides like a tank now, but it's a jeep so it should ride like a real truck anyway. but be prepared to change to a SYE kit and cv driveshaft. Don't forget, for a yj, you'll need degree shims for the rear end too.

Hi to all my fellow jeepers

Hi all, This is the first online jeep club I've ever been in, but I'm definitely not new to the sport. Started jeepin with my dad in a 71 commando, dad rolled 350 ft down a mountain in 1990 then cut 22" out of the frame and turned into a 56 m38a1 with a fiberglass front clip. We've wheeled the hell out of that thing for years, works great with that 225 buick V6 in it. My first jeep was a family owned 71 wagoneer with a mild lift a buick 350 turbo 400 trans and factory air (gotta love that). that was a great jeep. The newest addition to the family would be my daughter, but the newest jeep is a 2004 Tj with a 4.0 L, nv3550 trans, np231j transfer case and jb conversions SYE kit, tom woods driveshaft, Rough country 4" lift kit, rotated D35 housing with yukon axles, detroit locker and 4.11 gears, D30 front with a detroit truetrac and 4.10's, running 33x12.50x15 bfg all terrains. Too many future project plans to list, I'm still making payments and it's my daily driver (that was long winded, now I'm out of breath). I'm a navy machinist mate, so I'm pretty competent when it comes to problems, so hopefully I can help a few guys out when I'm around, and maybe you all can give me a hand from time to time also. Catch you all later and have a good one.
-Josh
