4Jeepn Welcome. part time means for non dry road surfaces, snow, mud rock gravel etc. applies to both 4wd low and high range. The full time you are seeing is because the cherokee used the same dash panel and had an option full time 4wd mode.

What does part time mean when i put it in 4 wheel drive?

I'm new to the jeep world... just wondering why it says part time when i throw it in 4 wheel drive? I can see full time indicater next to it but it wont lite up, thanks
