brokejeep My 06 has the 4.0L & the manual says 10.5 quarts of coolant. I would think they are the same.

doclouie 1.5-2 gallons of mixed antifreeze.

Not sure what it is called, but it is easy to replace once you get the old one off. Getting that big nut off though is another story. I bet it took me 2 hours to get the nut off and 15 minutes to replace the seal. That of course was back when I had no good tools.

Mechanical Questions for a 2003 4.0L

How much antifreeze does this jeep hold? I want to flush mine and i don't have an owners manual.

Second question on the rear diff where the drive shaft yoke goes into the diff i am leaking very small amount of fluid very small amount. Is that called a Pinion Seal and has anybody changed it themselves? Is it hard or do you have to have special tools?
