SLIM_SNOOPY Welcome to the forum:

I will be ordering the Rugged Ridge front and rear XHD Heavy Duty Bumpers. Go to JEEP ACCESSORIES, JEEP BUMPERS, JEEP TOPS, & more by RUGGED RIDGE - We Make Jeeps Rock!. The front bumper is a modual type bumper. You can interchange and build the bumper the way you want it. It also has the buit in fog lamp cutouts for the OEM lamp housing.

A couple of members on here told me to go with RuggedRidge , easy to install , well made.

The rear bumper can be ordered with or without the tire carrier. At anytime after you install, you can swap out parts to adapt to future needs. The front bumper can now be ordered with built in storage bins ith locks in the end caps. <--- Good use of wasted space.

My 2 cents...lol

Scooter_Trash If you take the plastic cover off you will have to fab up a way to mount the stock fog lights. The stock lights actually mount to the plastic piece. I'm running just the metal bumper that is under the plastic piece right now (and have been for about 3 years). I did cut the ends off to make it a "stubby". I put some aftermarket cheapo lights in the holes , but they are 55w and can't be spliced into the factory fog harness since they are 35w and it confuses the crap out of the computer.

As for the plastic piece under the bumper, I trashed that on day one.

Remove plastic bumper covers with fog lights?

Picked up my new 2010 Rubicon yesterday...(Yee Haw!)

My first order of business is to get a front end receiver hitch to hold a fishing rod rack. There is a plastic bumper cover with fog lights and a plastic protector at the bottom underneath the bumper.

Should I just remove the plastic "crap" and get a custom bumper with fog lights and a receiver hitch? I'm looking for recommendations....can't wait to start modding this Jeep!
