Ibuildembig Hard tops and doors bring 1500 down here...but you should be able to get a set of half doors for 300 bucks....but the top with hardware is gonna cost ya 500+...but you do have one door and a hardtop to sell.

cdridgley I agree, craigslist is your best bet. You may not find something right away but there are always tons of deals on there for Jeep parts. Good Luck!

rindy991 jump on craigslist.com and enter jeep wrangler. ive seen full hard door sets for as little as 200 bucks complete with handles, glass and inner door panels ready to hang. just a suggestion, but alot cheaper than a whole different top and a whole new can of worms

wow, that's pretty cool you would do that.......good service is hard to come by.....

my answer to question.....i'd scour the local boneyards for the doors before buying new.......more than likely, TWO matching doors from the boneyard will be cheaper than what your currently looking at.

Geoff@Bestop So you have a hard top, and full steel doors? (Or one anyway).

So your options: Junk yard door and repaint, or replace full doors with half doors.

Here's your big issue with going to half doors: for several YJ model years, the soft top and hard top guys at Jeep didn't actually talk to one another. so the hardtop uses a rounded upper door shape, and the soft top uses a square shape. You can not mix these! The soft top doors you're talking about getting will most likely be the wrong shape.

Yeah, it's a bad answer. But better to hear it now, right?

I have bought everything for my jeep from them and not a single problem with any of my orders and that is about $1500 in parts since I have owned it; everything from a new top with hardware to door handles and tow hooks.

I would definitely get a soft top, pull it off in 3 mins and put it on in less than 10. Much easier than lugging around a hard top.

billy_YJ I'm new on here, but these guys seem to have everything. I've only ordered a door handle replacements & door seals from them, but I've been 100% satisfied. Some things are cheaper on ebay, but if you want selection they are great...

looking for great doors and top

whats up jeep club!
i have a 1992 YJ jeep wrangler with a hard top and one door. to make a long story short someone broke into my car for a wire and totally messed up my other door >< now it will be about $700+ for a different color door, and i don't want to have a ugly looking jeep (who does right?).
what i was thinking is to get a brand new soft top and half doors which would be about the same price is a used door. i know what your thinking, why would i want to put a soft top on, when someone already tried to break into my car? well if i get a soft top, ill take everything valuable out of my car and just deal with it.
so what i want to know from all of you guys is. where can i get a good soft top and doors for a good price, that will work together.
thanks all for your help and happy trails!
