There is probably $5 worth of material in that part, then they have to pay someone to assemble it and had to design the mounting plate and have it manufactured. (I know it's a very simple piece but still not free.) And in the end they gotta make a profit.

the number for fuse is 4, should be below the actual fuse on the panel.

Goldin i just too the bulbs out of the 2 interior lights (passenger side glove box area and sound bar light). i'm a new jeep owner, but that seemed logical enough. any reason that I should do that as long as I dont mind being in the dark?

TerrorJ2001 The fuse should be the bottom right one, it's a 10'er. I believe it should be labeled "door defeat". I just did it on my lunch break, why cant I remember???

The mileage goes off on mine with the fuse pulled.

Atthehop I use the little clips that hold the door switches in so it thinks there is a door closed against it.

Neil F. The mileage indication will shut off after a period by itself

Dumb doors question

I noticed when my door is open and no key in the ignition my mileage light lights up. If I remove my doors will it stay on? Cause I don't wanna drain my battery ><;
