|Chrimbler||If you dont buy the plow, you only have 1 driveway to shovel, 7-8 times a year....is this a problem??|

|jkjeeper06||If you plow do it in 4low and I'd probably lock the at least the rear up. It'll reduce wear on your clutch as well as set you up with the right gearing to push such a heavy load|

i used a snowbear plow on my 07 jk for 2 or 3 years, i took the mounts off
each spring and painted the frame if needed then put it back on in fall, i decided to
use my snowblower this year, anyway cant tell there was ever a plow on it
due to the mount design.

|thaduke2003||Point of advice- having worked at dealerships, KISS YOUR WARRANTY GOODBYE IF YOU PLOW WITH A WRANGLER! Any evidence of a plow on ANY vehicle not set up for plowing (anything less than an HD truck) will void every bit of the warranty on your powertrain. Not worth it amigo- check with your dealership- they SHOULD tell you the same thing- Mark W.|

If you have a plow, expect to do more than the 2 driveways. Once that plow is on, you know that all your friends will want their drive cleaned too. Doing 2 driveways won't be too hard on your Jeep, but the others will add to the wear and tear.
I have a tractor with a rear snow plow and my customers all become my bestest friends when we get snow AND they all want it done for free or super cheap. I have the plow for my store parking lot, not to make money plowing.

Probably depends onhow deep the snow is and what else you drive in your drive way
I don't know how you would go about installing the "snow plow
if it was made for a "Liberty" ??
Anyway, I drive a '07 yota Matrix, back and forth from Ca, to Nv and I just use my '08 JKU to clean the driveway, don't need a plow, course I'm only talking 1/1Ĺ feet of snow !!

Snow Plow Question
Ok I have a question about snow plows. My neighbor has a snow plow that he bought last year for his jeep liberty for about $1500.00 I think itís a snow bear or something like that. He sold his jeep and offers this deal: He will give me the plow if I agree to plow his driveway after mine. I really donít mind plowing his after mine, no big deal, but I am concerned about plowing at all with my new 2010 manual Rubi. I would just be doing the 2 driveways and in my area it averages about 7 or 8 times a season. Iíd appreciate any opinions on if I should pass on this offer.
