Scout I'm kinda kicking it around. I'll have to check though as I'm sure it's already full.

You'll have a helluva good time. Just make sure you have LOTS of skid plates.

txoutdoorx4 Yeah, we really tried but it filled up pretty quick and with magazine deadlines, it was just too tough to pull it off. But we'll be there in the fall so we're stoked and we look forward to seeing you then!

You know, we had actually seriously considered that event and we would have done so except that I've got to be in Tulsa that weekend and later in the month, we're heading out on another trip to cover for the mag. Timing just didn't work out. Take some cool photos for us though as we'd love to get them in the mag.

By the way, I graduated from Tech and used to camp/mountain bike/Jeep out at PD when I was a student. That part of the state is gorgeous!

Texas Hill Country Wheeling

I just got an email from Tony Winkler, the South Texas Jeep Jamboree coordinator...

It seems there has been a spike in the registrations for Fall Texas Spur since our weekend in the Hill Country together just the other day.

The event is now over 50% Sold Out still leading any other Jeep Jamboree in country.

I guess the numbers speak for themselves: The Texas Spur has proven itself as a Premier Wheeling event. I hope to see a lot of you in Llano This September.

Too Cool!

I'm so gladd to hear you are going to join us.

My family told me I had to pick one this weekend.

I could go to a work day in Llano to get ready for the Spring JJUSA or I could come watch my daughter at Cheer Competition.

You know what I did RIGHT?????

I still have 2 other Work days and the JJUSA so this weekend I'm going to watch Alex Cheer!

So many things to do; so little time.

A lot of the lines have a bypass.

You can run almost all the ranch in your Jeep.

Where is Llano?

A few folks have emailed me to ask "where Llano is Texas".

The Ranch where the driving takes place is the Inks Ranch, home base will be held Oxford Ranch Campground just outside of Llano the Ranch and Campground are about 2 miles apart..

Here is map that might help.

And here are links to lots of Photos from the 2005 & 2006 Texas Spur Jeep Jamboree USA Event.

Take time to listen to a few of the PodCast we recorded at the 2005 Texas Spur Jeep Jamboree. I think it will give you some good info on this event.

Are any of you looking into making this trip?
