Wrangle'D OH and I obviously need some new tires on it right away if I don't get those killer ones from the dealer. I'm not a hardcore rock crawler here, just an average off-roader.... for now. The 3.73 factory gears should be enough for me, right?

Wrangle'D JeepJones - I've got an AB license so I am going to be buying back there. Yupyup. I just wanted the jeep to come with the power package, freedom top, tow package and stereo. Plus the wheels and tires my local dealer had on it - whooo nice! I do want to throw on an intake, exhaust and chip asap though.

I'm not interested in a Tj for a few reasons: No warranty, I'm not a fan of the one piece hard top aaaaand if I buy a Rubi it'll probably be beat up from the trails, no? Damn I wish I could afford a 2010 Rubi. WOW.

jeepjones Buy a TJ! Just imagine what kind of mods you could do with all the money you didn't blow on a JK. You could put on a 6" long arm lift, sye, regear the diffs,35" tires, winch,HD bumper(s)/tire carrier, snorkel, headers, high flow exhaust, lights and a CB for the price of a STOCK JK. And if you bought a Rubicon TJ it would come with lockers!

jeepjones Why don't you just take a quick hop over to Alberta and pay less that half of the taxes that you would in BC? None of that HST crap here.

Wrangle'D Thanks!

Canadian Jeeper - What about a new JK??

Hey all, it's great to have forums like this to inform and help the new kids on the block.

I recently sold my Cherokee (loved that 4L inline 6)... It was a rock. Never broke down on me, never quit on me and never got stuck. It was so reliable that I am 100% certain that I'll buy another jeep. In fact, a 2010 wrangler. Right away.

Without being too personal, and please do not answer if you do not feel comfortable discussing money, I'd like to ask what kind of deals some of you were able to procure in buying new.

My local dealership has a 2010 sport with aftermarket wheels and tires already installed, and it has my name written all over it. BUT - They are asking just shy of 25K for it. Now I'm just not sure if I should jump at that or not. Dealer incentive of 2,500 but the the new taxes offset that deal here in BC.

Would anyone be willing to share what they negotiated for a new Wrangler? Much appreciated boys and girls. I am unbelievably excited to get my new wrangler!
