1BLKJP Hmmm, I'm not 100% sure, but it sounds like it is riveted to the bows itself. If that's the case then it's not so simple. I'll take a look at mine when I get home today.

erickpl I had this problem too, but found a replacement frame, door surrounds, soft top, windows, etc for 200. So I swapped the frame, and have the extra soft top, door surrounds, windows for if/when I damage the current top.

Header bar removel from bow?

My header bar that attaches the soft top to the windshield is cracked and broken.

I've got a new one to replace it but can't get the old one off. I need to get the header bar off from the bow. (Not the soft top part...I already removed it by taking out the 14 screws to remove the soft top.)

It looks like the header bar is attached by some type of round metal piece but I can't figure any way to get them out to remove the header bar.

Any ideas?
