jeepjones You will need a certain amount of offset to clear everything. The stock rims is about as close as your going to get to very little offset.

MotorCityJK Offset is simply a different term for backspacing. An 8" rim w/ 5" of backspace is a .5" negative offset (8" rim is 9" bead to bead, 4.5" to the centerline, negative offset is to the outboard side of center).

InfernoGirl Cragar soft 8's... or D windows. Most wheels that fit Wranglers don't have offset, but all wheels have a backspace measurement that is important for fitting the size tires you want on your Jeep. Not real sure about JK's but I'd think you'll need at least 5" bs, depending on how wide a tire you want. Height doesn't matter, but width is where you'll have issues. Check Jeg's and summitracing for cheap steelies.... I think you need 16's to clear the calipers.

17" black steel rims with no offset

Can anyone suggest a set of black steel rims that will take 32/33 " tyres with no offset , so that i can use with my standard JK 2010 fenders and suspension.
