There is a TON of info there. I know its very convoluted but it's easier than it sounds. Good luck .

It only holds for 3 seconds before it releases, just wait a little longer between letting off the brake and letting out the clutch.

Tactics yea very disapointed with no manual.. i'm like is this serious!? what brand new car/truck does not come with a owners manual eeesh haha and saleman had no idea either.
08-13-2010 01:07 PM
phottomatt The owners manual on the disk is much better than the hard copy (lots more info) it will tell you pretty much anything you want to know except how to disable the chime when the key is in the ignition and the door is open, been trying to figure it out for a while, must be a way. Maybe.......steering wheel left then right, lights on/off 3 times then key on/lock 4 times spin around touch my toes and say there's know place like home 3 times........

ASJ The sales people should inform you of the HA. I stalled one on a test drive due to it. Funny thing, had to be there. Been driving manuals forever and only ever stalled when I was learning to drive. Wasn't until after the test drive and doing research that I discovered these new ones come with that feature.

Welcome Aboard, Shipmate!

That's an easy one too! Chrysler's, "Owners Manual Writers", were too busy filling out the, "Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Forms" last April!

Now, they're just too busy translating everything over to Italian for Fiat!

Cheers!

Owner's manuals are written by attorneys to try and prevent lawsuits.

I've read mine from cover to cover and there's no warning about driving with a cup of scalding hot fast food coffee between my legs - I think I'm gonna be rich !!

Tactics ok cool i'll try that and I read that before. I'll check my manual also.

thx

TDCoffee As far as the Hill Start Assist- It took me a bit to get used to as well, (haveing driven manual trans for a long time) I notice however that if you do not press the brake all the way to the floor, but just enough to stop the jeep, the Hill Assist (or HA! as I like to call it), won't engage. It's nice to be able to choose on the fly rather than completely disabling it.
06-29-2010 11:41 AM
SilverFun I'm not sure if i googled it or if it was in the owners manual to disable the hill assist. I just checked google and you can find how to disable the hill assist there. Good luck
06-28-2010 10:13 PM
Tactics So should I not bother looking in to disabling HSA? am I going to screw something over time before I perfect this feat? lol
