Yes, yes I do. In the summer, if I'm not barefoot, I'm wearing sandals. I'm just wild like that.

Chickdey Wow amazing view! I'm a computer tech as well, but I don't see tower climbing in my future anytime soon.

I wouldn't have any trouble climbing up there. It's the climbing back down (looking down to place my feet) that would get me.
Why, do you wear sandals ?

How'd you guess?

1BLKJP I would imagine that a person that high up would hit maximum velocity fairly quickly and therefore the fall wouldn't matter if you were 60 ft up or 225, you are still going to be a little puddle at the bottom.

You must suck at physics.

Actually I suck at asking intelligent questions. We are uneducated hicks down here in Mississippi.

Yeah, you read it right. I'm not good at physics. You might be right.

mswilder Ohhh and also I didnt mention, that I had to start because there where 60-80mph winds that broke 2 of the cables, so we had to climb to repair them. so I climbed 225 in winds, at that alttitude, of between 60-100MPH, the tower was swaying appox 5-10 ft side to side, that was scary. so everything else that i do now will be no PROBLEM!!!!!
04-16-2007 09:27 AM
Texapple great views...but way too scary for me
04-16-2007 09:09 AM
Odhinn Yep, once again I was slower then the timer to fix my post, lol
04-16-2007 09:02 AM
tiny terror Hitting a group on the ground would probably be bad too, Odhinn.
04-16-2007 08:41 AM
Odhinn Ground.
04-16-2007 08:23 AM
Odhinn Nice view, It's really not the altitude that freaks me out but the thought of hitting the group.
04-16-2007 08:00 AM
Scout That makes me dizzy and makes my palms sweat.

I'm suprised you didn't tell em about me getting stuck on the roof.
My first truck was an old Kenworth cabover, I had trouble just getting used to climbing into that. there's no way anybody would get me up a tower
04-16-2007 03:43 AM
jjseel Whatta view! Hope ya like it! Me and a buddy climbed a microwave tower just after it had been built (about 25 yrs ago) and took pics just about like that. Aaah, memories....
04-16-2007 12:32 AM
AzTJ That first pic made me a little dizzy - congrats on the new altitude!
