I blast it clean every now and then and spray on some Protect All. It's good stuff; I know people who've won car/motorcycle shows using just Protect All. Works on the black plastic and textured paint too.

Get it clean, do your maintenance, get back to life.

Enough mud will cover up that bumper "Owie"

Cause this happens and you shouldn't let it make you into a mental case.

pdubois64 Zaino is probably the best (and the most expensive) but it's a ton of work. I used it mainly on an old Cadillac show car I used to own. I now use the Turtle Wax Ice as it's so quick and easy. McGuires products are great too especially if restoring older oxidized paint using their 1,2,3 step system.

Yakman I just tried Eagle One Nano Wax (was on sale for $3.99 at Advance Auto) for the first time - quick, easy, and it looks great. I am not sure how long it will last. But, it removes water spots.

Cal Any good car soap with Miss Universe in a bikini ( for the guys) or Mr Universe (for the girls) doing the work while sitting back watching with a cold one.

aelwero turtle has a whole line of ice stuff, I like the interior cleaner, no gloss and it seems to be pretty good so far at not attracting dust. Haven't washed mine except to knock chunks off the glass and door handles (I was in a hurry... got some funny looks rolling out of the bay with clean glass and chunks on the hood ) so I'm not sure how the wax stuff works yet, but it's good to hear it won't chalk up on the plastic

daggo66 Turtle Wax Ice is so easy to put on that you could easily do it every wash or even every other wash. It's not even close to the labor needed with carnauba wax.
08-13-2010 12:21 PM
castorj29 Canuba wax is still the hardest wax around. Did you know that wax will start breaking down at a rate of 2 percent a day. Do the math.

daggo66 BTW, the color is red rock.

Klenger Good choice of Wrangler. That color sure looks nice when it's clean and polished.

Good stuff. It works well on the plastic as well. Use a chamois to prevent the water spots.

harwa004 I got mine my current TJ back in May, and it has only been washed ONCE--the first week I got it. I am PROUD of my mud!

Anyone have recommendations for a wash with wax stuff included in it?

Thanks
