kevmei7 ya im not looking do to rock crawling most is a little mud and and sandy bumpy trails the reason im replacing stabilizer is because the stock one was leaking and the reason im replacing the tie rod is because the rubber grease fitting boot had a crack in it because i just bought the jeep used and those were the only problems and i know nothing about a jeep that why i ask questions and joined a forum

Jerry Bransford Well, the stabilizer and new Moog tie-rod end will be fine. You only need to not be too hard on the tie rod itself as it's thin enough to bend if you hit it on a rock or get a tire wedged into something and turn the steering wheel too hard. Take it easy and don't do anything crazy and it should all be fine. But for beach driving and most easy trails with stock tire sizes, the OE tie rod is usually fine.

kevmei7 OK thank a lot so u think with the damper and tie rod i got i will be perfect for off-road capabilities like beach and trail riding that have several bumps etc..

Jerry Bransford Moog is a very good brand for such replacement parts, you did good.

kevmei7 OK thanks because im actually new at the whole jeep and im just learning about off-road performance parts and since u know some of your stuff maybe u can help me with this one also i had to replace the passenger outer tie rod end and i got it at my local parts shop pep-boys and its brand name is a moog this is the site for this part but didn't pay this much..

That'll work as well as any of them. That's not a specific component I normally have a preference in since they're mostly pretty much alike. I'd take nearly anything the parts store had in stock. Monroe, Rancho, Skyjacker, OME, Doetsch Tech, Bilstein, Rough Country, ProComp, etc..

Paint and strut chrome thickness-wise, I'd be a little more suspect of the ProComp but that's about it.

Jerry Bransford Steering stabilizers are pretty much the same once you get past the tiny stabilizer the factory installs. I'm no fan of ProComp shock absorbers which what a steering stabilizer is, but the one you bought will work fine for that purpose and last a long time.

A steering stabilizer is nothing more than a hydraulic shock absorber with a 50:50 valving setup.

97 wrangler steering stabilizer

i need a new steering damper/steering stabilizer i just ordered a performance pro comp part number#222579f i have plans of getting a future lift because it is the stock height and this stabilizer is good up to a 0-4in lift but what im concerned about did i get a really good stabilizer or did i buy crap here is the site i bought it from along with the part im talking about..
