|bentol888||I'm pretty sure that you can get a better deal than that with the 2011's coming out soon. The price you mentioned are what I'd expect 4dr with power to be at. At the end of the day though, the best price is what you think it is! Hurry up and get one!!|

I test drove the Sport model today; posted above. After reading comments about the lack of power the 3.8 puts out, I was expecting the worse. It actually surprised me how decent it was. The Sport was an auto and had the a/c on, and I had the sales guy and my dad in it as well. It's not nearly as fast as my Cobalt, but it's not a sports car either. It drove a lot nicer then some older Jeep's I've been in, that's for sure. Floated over patched potholes like it was a joke.
After talking a little, the sales guy did a dealer search for me. He found somewhere [not sure of the dealer] a 2010 DWB Mountain 2-door with the hardtop, auto, and power package. It also had the limited slip, towing package and Sirius for $28,070 [other dealers price]. I do think it's a bit high since the 2011's will hit the lots soon. I did price the options on Jeep's website and it came just over $29k for it. No way I'm going to pay 28k for a non-Rubicon. What do you think I could get them down to on this specific Mountain?

I shopped and found the mountain to be the best buy, I had the dealer remove the stickers.
I have also added the following:
1. Front and rear trailer hitch receiver $200.00
2. B&N automatic transmission cooler $49.00
3. Padded arm rest $47.00
4. Rear cargo area mat $50.00
5. Hood air scoop $42.00
6. Custom made "MOUNTAIN" sticker $20
7. Grab handles for short people "wife" $23.00
I also found. Blue tooth radio with navigation for less then $500.00

|f8259o8||ok hard top you need 2 or 3 poeple to remove it soft top 1. if you remove the hard top and it rains you stuck. soft just put it up . belive me this summer it worked out thank god the wife mad me get a soft top.|

|jkjeeper06||having a special edition wrangler like the mountain edition might be cool to have. the only thing different are the hood decals and the seats. if you do go with the sport you can defincately get them down. i paid 16,700 for mine. it was pre owned but it had 4000 miles so i would definately try to get around 20-22 for yours|

|InfernoGirl||As mentioned above, the Mountains come with better tires stock, than Sports do. Better looking wheels too, IMO. The stickers are easy enough to get rid of... And the seats look better too... Call em up and see if it comes with a hard top. Tho' for the life of me, I'll never understand why you'd feel the need for locks and windows on a 2 door.... Just more crap to break, and make sure you have a place to store a hard top, and someone to help you remove/replace it.....|

|KooL||Personally, and I may get flamed, but I really like the looks of the moutain package. I hated the mountain sticker at first, but honestly it's really grown on me to the point that ilike it on my rescue green. Still don't care for it on he mango tango, but I also think it looks good on the blue. Anyway, the black package, wheels/tires, grille, and hood decal I absolutely love, but this is your choice so it's what you like.|

I just bought my 2010 JK Sport 2 door manual with Hardtop and no power anything for $21,499 out the door. I can't imagine power windows and locks would raise the price that much? That price is too high. Check out edmunds.com for accurate pricing on your model. Here's yours:

|Jetmech1||I have an Unlimited Sahara with the hardtop and all options but navigation. I just installed a 4" lift and 35" tires. I would be re-gearing if my Jeep didn't have the 4.10 ratio trac loc rear end, this option makes bigger tires doable without changing the gears. My advice would be to think about resale value. Don't go cheap! The Jeep dealer in Plainfield, IN quoted me the 2010 Deep water blue Sahara with hardtop 4x4 nicely equipped for 29,500 plus tax, and he had it in stock. This was an excellent price IMO. I opted to buy a used 2007 I found on Craigslist and spent the rest of my money on a lift kit, tires, wheels, programmer, etc. It's addicting!!!|

I like the sport because I'm really not a fan of the mountain stickers and different color hood. I do however like the tires on the mountain alot. So, for me it would be the sport for sure. I do think that those prices are a little high though. By at least 2 or 3k.

Which JK would you consider as the better buy?
So I am currently looking at a 2010 JK. Pretty much my only requirements are that it has to be Deep Water Blue, auto, power convenience package and a hard top. The nice to have options would be the Mopar black package, tinted windows, limited slip, additional side airbags. I went to a local Jeep dealer and got a print out of a JK at another dealer. Here's the link.
Sport [for some reason, the website doesn't list it as a hardtop, but the dealer print out does list it as having a hardtop, verified vin]

After doing a 50mi dealer search on kbb.com, I found a JK Mountain that's $19 less then the sport above. I'm not sure if this is a hardtop or not.

After doing some research, the Mountain trim is basically just a sticker package with different color wheels/interior and the Mopar black package standard. Which JK do you guys think would be a better purchase?
Second question, what are some common problems that JK's have? I know the earlier 07-08 models had roof leaking issues with both the soft top and hard top.
