GoldenSahara00 Inferno I might take you up on that offer, depends how much I have to pay for a certain other part im buying right now. can u ship it usps if its only the muffler? my area code is 15521 if u wana check shiping costs but I do alot of ebaying and ship everything through usps, and ive shipped stuff in exces of 15 or 20 lbs in a large ox for less that 15$... anyways, I would need to weld it on, correct? Im trying to decide if im gona buy a set up, or the guy I know at the local shop will build me a custom exhaust from the headers back for like 90... its pretty good price. haha.

anyways I checked for the metal plate with the ratio on it and couldnt find it. there were some numbers on my differential. They were embossed in the metal. I couldnt read until I rubed some dirt on them then rubbed the excess away and still couuld only read about 3/4 of them... hmm :l

InfernoGirl Yep, I have that one, it's a bit louder than stock, not obnoxious, but you hear the Jeep running now. That price is high, if you decide you want it, shop around. If you want one that's broken in, mine is for sale, $40+ actual shipping costs, muffler only, no pipes. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

Edit didn't see that you were looking at it with the rebate. Good, that brings it down some. Be aware that particular muffler stinks like crazy when new, till the coating they put on it burns off, not sure if it's the muffler or pipes, but we pulled over to inspect it driving home from the muffler shop for fear something was on fire.... Smoked and smelled awful... Apparently this is normal, several others mentioned similar experiences. The one I'm selling no longer smokes or stinks

jwm1986 Most "turbo" type mufflers I have heard are basically like a stock muffler, but usually a little louder.

GoldenSahara00 Ok, I wasnt sure where it was at, I was just looking for numbers haha. I didnt think so. thanks! Im gona go look for the 4th time...

4Jeepn I will guess that is not correct.. I would be 3.07, 3.55, 3.73, or 4.11 that would be it for a TJ as far as I know. Now 2.72 for the t-case is correct for low range.

Gears and exhaust

I just checked my gears and im pretty sure it said 2.72... but I could have been reading the wrong gears because I was told it was on a metal plate and that the last numbers were the gears, but this was just on a metal place that said gear ration. anyways, thats not exactly desireable for larger wheels, but I should still be able to run 31s, right?

also, does anyone know of a good sounding exhaust for my jeep? I wana give it a lil growl
