I got mine at Sam's club. My good camera is a Canon but my Windows 7 isn't letting me put the editing program on it so I can't use it for anything except ordinary photo's. Kind of sux b/c I paid a lot more for it, guess I should put that in the "i hate it when" thread

schnutzy i have thought about renting a few times, maybe flying out and renting one while i am there. however to rent a vehicle you have to be 25 or 24 years old, and im still a few years short.

besides, i just wana get me a jeep
ive got a very nice couple of pay checks coming my way, so by the end of sept/october i should have a down payment im happy with, and then i get to go from there.

jcf You can always hire jeeps here & our neighbor has one of the hire places so we get a cut rate.
Oh & regarding exploring, there is an old town up the road with a tumbled down boarding house, an old mercantile building & a small cemetary, also a bunch of Indian writing, thats fun too. There are dino' bones as well & I can take you to some places that you will find your own relatively easy. There is a place where the big bones are still in the rock which is fun to see

pakman55 Yeppers. I think we are going to get along Schnutzy....I am exited to take piccchers.

schnutzy i like being able to focus on the scenery. all that crawling stuff, you are concentrating on the trail, not the beauty around it.
08-20-2010 05:43 PM
pakman55 I am defiantly looking forward to exploring when we go...The rock crawling stuff is really my cup o' tea but I'd like to try it.

schnutzy exploring awesome stuff like that is what i love most. to me its better then all that crazy technical rock crawling stuff.

Onion Creek Moab

Just a few shots of a trail we did last weekend, lots of creek crossings & shade but it was still very hot unless you decided to wade in the creek to cool off!
Doesn't the last pic' resemble a flip off?
