MadMaxx #1 is a Posi-lock for your front axle, this is used to manually engage your front drive axles when you shift into 4wd.
#2 is the electrical connector for a hard top equipped with a wiper and defroster.
#3 If you opened up your TB then you may see fuel in it when you look down, you should NOT see oil. If you opened your oil fill cap on the valve cover you should see oil when you look down into it.

Hope that this helps.

4Jeepn Nice clean looking YJ. I also agree is a homemade posi lock for the shift fork on the front axle to lock in the shaft and allow 4wd. Does the 4wd work okay?

FlyArmy This forum is awesome. Once again I appreciate all the answers that I have received! I am trying to go through my "new" jeep and get it through sitting for a deployment for a year at which time I can come back and tear it apart and do things right. I am going to make a thread later on to recap some of my lessons learned which may be able to help out some new people in the future. Thanks!

Dons_Jeep Number 3 is a power connector and washer fluid hose for a hard top. Nice rig you have there

FNjeep You see FlyArmy, there's a really short attention span around here. Ask one question at a time.

Just trying to help.

Number 3 Sounds you looked into the "big metal thing" going to the engine? If you have fuel/oil mix in there that's completely normal.

It is the single black cable. 1) What does this do because I have no idea. 2) I was in the back tracing more cables and came across a connector not plugged into anything with more wires coming off and into the rear. Any ideas?
3) Last one for now...When I open the throttle body should I see a oil or fuel collected in the "runners"going into the engine? Sorry if I am not using the right terms. My Chilton's still has not arrived.
Thanks in advance

PosiLok?

I see a cable there.

Is that a PosiLok with a custom handle instead of the plunger actuation? It's difficult to tell from the picures.
