I'm down to hit the gorge. I've never been on the trails down there. I've looked at the krawlers board before but never tried to join. Hit me with some details. Since your in lex maybe we can hook up some time and do some jeep talkin. I'm ready to do some wheeling on a regular basis.

Jeepken Thanks for the welcome fellow Kentuckians!

Hey, I was thinking of heading down to Red River Gorge this weekend or next week. Wheelin' opportunities for a rank newbie? Any net resources y'all know of ?

Thanks,

Jeepken

Now that you know the truth, how does it feel to be awesome?

Um... You might want to check my Jeep profile... Just saying. Also, Tim (DistortedTJ) is the one who came up with "Barbie Gold" FYI.

InfernoGirl As long as you wheel with more experienced wheelers you'll be fine... Take your time, follow the advice of those who have knowledge and use your good judgement... Isn't that the group that 4Jeepn is getting together? If I recall correctly, he used to be a guide for Jeep Jamboree's, and if that's the case he will be most excellent in assisting you with how to wheel safely....

Jeepken Thanks for the welcome all.

I was thinking of joining the group headed to bills491 park in Northern KY in Oct., but as an absolute wheeling novice with a stock Sport, it has me a little nervous.

EdJonesJeeper I CAN"T WAIT TO GO TO HARLAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My buddy's going this weekend. He's known as frankenyoter. Once you see his chopped up stock and locked landcruiser on 33's you'll understand why they call him that.

I'm gonna eventually plan a trip. I want to get my front locked and trussed before then.
