Waterproof seat covers work great for that (as well as removing the carpet)...also, it really doesn't rain in a whole lot with the doors off...unless it's supposed to rain all day long, I just put the top up with the windows out. That way at least the electronics stay dry (radio, clock spring, etc).

VVCG33 I love driving in the rain with the doors off and windows out. You barely even get wet, but if you do it is still fun.

mrcarcrazy still may be a fuse you can pull that will disable the lights.

or as you stated you can yank the bulbs.

Or depending on the door switch you can pin them in the "off" position.

Gee oh Dee 1987 XJ. The wifey won't let me take the doors off the Wrangler, which makes me sad face.

pakman55 If you have a TJ remove fuse #4, not sure about the other models.

Doors off

I'm considering going doorless for awhile, but I've got dome lights.

I'm wondering if I'll have issues with battery drainage if I just remove all the lighted bulbs. Is there something I'm missing, or will I be fine with just the bulb removal?

Thanks in advance for the help!
