I have a 4" lift in mine from P/O and I hate it big time... it's coming soon and a 2.5 suspension lift is going in...
got a smoking deal from Rough Country w/2.2 shocks should be a little stiff but not like riding in a crate on roller skates on black ice!

|rbraden1970||I just installed 2" spacers today with rancho shocks. I will try and take some picks tomorrow. I already like the look and it rides better than stock. I am running 31's but will try and go up to 32's when I use the 31's up. Going wheeling next weekend will see how it does. I went with the 2" spacers because mine is a DD and also didn't want to get into the expense to do a larger lift right (SYE,etc.) now. I have been out several times and was just looking for a little more ground clearance. Took me a little about 4 hours to install without being in a hurry and keeping the 4 year old out of stuff.|

|Jollyczar||Will putting the 1 inch coil spacers in mean needing new shocks? I just put some stock length Skyjackers all around and would like to put some 1 inch coil spacers sometime in the next year or so when I will try to get some 31 inch tires (I'm running 235/75r15's now). I'm obviously hoping to keep these shock without having to replace them again.|

|InfernoGirl||You'll likely have all the same problems that come from going so high... It doesn't matter how you get there, it's the alteration from stock suspension that causes problems. So any problems inherent to going up to 4.5/5" will remain... Longer brake lines, drive shaft angles, etc will still need attention.|

I like TjTheo's first suggestion for a little bit of lift on a short budget. I've been reading this forum for going on 4 years now and haven't read once about anyone "crushing" a coil spacer. I'm sure its possible thats its happened before, probably very very rare though.

|TjTheo||Ive never ran coil spacers but im sure if you get good quality ones you should be fine. Just dont go off jumps or anything haha. If you wanna go offroading just get a 2 inch skyjacker short arm lift. It's worth the extra money.|

Body lifts arent really good over 1 inch. It looks terrible because of the spacing between the tub and frame and it may cause other problems.
Id suggest some 1 inch spacers for the coil spring and a 1 inch body lift.

Ok so I want a cheaper way to get more lift, but I want it to look good... anyone have pix of your jeep with a 2 inch body lift from different angles? Or any advice on a body lift in general? thanx guys
