This pic doesn't do the trail justice. The technical part of the hill goes down fairly steep descent, it dips deeper down into a bed of rocks. The hill off in the distance is much, much steeper but its easy to just truck your way straight to the top in 4HI. Mind you--this is my "Quick Fix" trail. It's only a few blocks away from my house. Something to do when I wanna kill a little time.

Trail Ride Around the Corner
Here are pics from what I like to call my "Quick Fix" trail ride. Stoney Lonesome OHV Park is about a 40 minute drive from where I live, so when I just want to get a taste of some dirt and rocks I hit my little quick fix trail. It's about 45 minutes worth of trail riding with a couple of what could be rated as "advanced" hills but nothing to do cartwheels over. By the way, Tom, if you're lurking this thread, the dirt on the trail matches my Sahara's paint job.
This particular hill isn't as steep as it is very technical to climb. You can't just drive straight up the hill. You have to know how to hit the rocks just right, then ride the side of the hill in certain areas where the dirt isn't so loose and powdery that your tires just sit and spin.
Going down the hill is just as crazy as going up. In many areas I just have to let my JK just slide and use the wheels like rudders on a boat instead of tires.
(Going back up) It took me FOUR TIMES to figure out how to climb this hill when I first got my JK. I had to develop a stop and go style to find dirt that was firm enough to hold.
