Hmmm, my rear wiper doesn't have a delay ('04 Unlimited). Wish it would.
This is how I hooked up some aux light in the rear....
Wired to a relay and powered from the battery....
And the difference .....
W/ aux lights

Remember the wiper is on an intermittent circuit. So you want flashing lights?
You'd be better off running a proper relay circuit. Most lights will come with the relay and switch.

|TJWhosYourMama||Well, the rear wiper is hooked up to a 20 amp fuse. I was gonna start checking the wire gauges today to see what the max amperage i could send through them would be. Would it just be easier run new electrical back to the lights rather than messing around with the harness?|

Not sure what kinda amps the wiper draws, but I'd think less than a set of lights would.
Probably best to use the power wire for the wiper to activate a solenoid and run a power wire for the lights to the battery.

|TJWhosYourMama||Yeah, the one that the rear wiper and defroster hooks into.|

|HyperBuzzin||Are you referring to the wiring harness for the rear wiper?|

Hardtop Wiring Harness to Aux Lights
I have a 2005 TJ Sport to which I sold the hardtop for. Anyone have any wiring advise for running a set of aux lights on the rear bumper through the old wiring harness?
