Hi there fellow Aussie

Hi there

Son is looking at buying a TJ. Just wondering how easy it is to get parts for the Wrangler in our neck of the woods. We actually live 4 or 5 hours north of Sunny Coast and there aren't a lot of them up here so he'll have to travel to Brissie to get one. Any advice on potential problems?

Cheers!

1BLKJP Night runs out here are just about the only time it's smart enough to go outside in the summer.

Sounds like you boys had a blast.

night run in australia

woot woot I just got home from a night run out to beerwah state forrest on the sunshine coast in Queensland australia
(just north of brisbane)
we had 2 xjs.. one of which nearly flopped
and 8 TJs
unfortunately I have no pics but I cant sleep yet so I thought Id tell you guys
it had been raining out there last weekend pretty heavy and even after a week of sunshine we found puddles of mud..some of which could consume a heavilly lifted jippy jeep with ease..
plenty of recovery work.. although I forgot my recovery gear.. and as tail end charlie.. or arse end arnold as they were calling me..I had the benefit of watching everyones lines andtaking the best one for me.. worked out well as I didnt get bogged.. although my battery did die as Id left my lights on whilst doing a recovery and when I remembered it wa stoo late.. opps
the ground is like a sandy clay and with water it maks the fun factor skyrocket.
we may get some video footage as there was one lass doing what she could to catch us gettign stuck in the wee hours of the night. we had one wheel pop off the rim..and one puncture.. but other than that.. it was only lantana scratches and egos damaged
all I can say is.. night runs make even the easy tracks look hard and heaps more fun.
if there are any images or short movies Ill try post them up for you..
cheers
HG
