phottomatt This only shows me just how popular it is and the attraction has no boundaries. I am thankful that such a wide range of people enjoy the vehicle, this is what has kept the vehicle alive for over 70 years and it is THE oldest off road/SUV on the road today.

P.S. Although it is NOT attractive to me and it makes me chuckle.

In general I'd agree but some folks' taste just begs for ridicule.

IMHO anyone who buys a vehicle specifically designed for a particular purpose and then modifies it for appearance sake to make it incapable of that purpose deserves a certain amount of derision.

T-Rav I'll bet their last ride was a Hummer..slowly making the transition..
A little too slowly for mine!
09-14-2010 04:54 AM
Aaronkushner You guys think that one is bad. Wait till the 2011 Wranglers roll out with the matching tops, you are going to see A LOT more of this kind of thing (at least I think so).

bwdenman I knew it! As soon as I saw the thread title I knew it had to be a jeep that was not being used properly! I'm getting to know this forum better everyday!

lanse42 Looks like he could have lowered it a couple inches more. Hopefully it's next owner will stick on some 35's and give the poor thing some self respect.

hahahahaaaa. i just burst out laughing, thanks for that one.

This isn't as bad as the one that was pink, light green, yellow and white. the girly jeep. i forgot which thread.
09-13-2010 05:07 PM
Geoff@Bestop Yeah, i usually don't like participating in the "bash someone else's taste" threads.

But there's definitely something wrong with spending all that money on a vehicle built for a specific purpose, and then immediately destroying that purpose. Most car modifications are designed to enhance the neat aspect of that car. Like yellow spark plug wires make a Honda go faster.

But on the other hand, there aren't very many four door convertibles on the market, and it's not like this guy is pretending he's an off-road hero.
