JeepFreak41 I had a simular problem. Come to find out i had 5 wires that were eaten up my squirls. then that didnt fix the problem so i was a little mad and said a prayer and went to bed. The next moring i got up and granda and i went out and took it for a drive, still didnt work so i started taking off the drivers lower dash and taped the controllor and it worked. Later the next day it went out a gain on the way to get my licenes ( would not take the test in any thing else) and i got mad and kicked the dash and they started workin. Well all wnet well but the lady did look at me funny when i smacked that dash in the middle of the driving test. I just looked and smiled........... still needs a smack every onw and again.

Thanks man, me too. Anyway let me tell you what happened with the jeep. I called my buddy to come over and try to fix the turn signals. He never made it that night and I drove it to work that morning even though I thought better of it for Safety purposes. I said a prayer and left the house. Guess what happened??????????????

I hit a bump on the Railroad track and the blinkers started working again. Praise the Lord, He truely answers prayers. My Faith is growing daily. Yeah, you might think that it was just a loose wire as I have thought about. It was the Lord though. I haven't had any electrical problems with that Jeep ever. Sorry I haven't had much time lately. I've been busy with this planning and Estimating School I've been going too. Pretty tough class. How's your jeep running?

O, I almost forgot. The base down here that I work at is having an open house this weekend and I wanted to invite you to come to it for the afternoon. I'll be playing in a Softball Tournament on the Base during the day but inbetween games I could show you what the Navy Seabee's do for a living. We will be having all of our machine guns's on the grinder, HMMWV's and heavy equipment on display. There is also a car show and motor cycle show that we are hosting the same day, at the same time. There will be plenty of free handouts and boothes to look at. We even have a large tent set up with giant screens with real weapons to use in combat. Kinda like a real war scenerio. Bring your girlfriend down or significant other and I'm sure you'll have a great time and enjoy yourselves. It's free. Yall are welcome to come to church with us in the morning if you'ld like as well.

The Base is called Gulport Seabee Base on the road signs. Take Highway 49 South and you'll run right into the Base. We are just two blocks North of the Beach. Let me know if you would like to come and my wife and I will meet you all at the gate. The Gulf Coast is repaired from the Storm and Highway 90 is a nice ride on the weekend along the Beach with a Jeep.

Let me know something so we can plan accordingly. O, the invatation goes out to anyone else who will be in the area as well. It's something different to go do on the weekend at least. It's kind of a big deal down here when a government Base opens up to the Generial Public. There will be plenty of security so don't even think about bringing a weapon on Base. Just a friendly reminder. If 9/11 would have never happened I wouldn't even have to mention that part. Sorry If anyone was offended.

Oh, and I'm happy with my jeep. I don't need anything bigger than what I have. It's just a vehicle, not a mobile monument to my onw greatness or anything.

Glad to have you on the forum, Christian. I have been hoping some more down home people would get on here.
I have heard of it but never eaten there. I heard it was on TV. It's funny a couple guys in my Naval class just ate there the other day and asked if I had been. They had a full rack of ribs boiled potatoe salad and Sweet Tea. They were from New York and said it was the best that they have had. They said it was a really small place. Thus the "Shed". I have driving directions if you want them. I just got them the other day. O, I have a friend who is a Detective in the Jackson, Mississippi area and I lived in Meridian growing up for about a year. I really like those down home people. Everythings just a little bit slower and less stressful. I think that's the way God wants us to live. With all the stresses and Anxieties in the World it's no wander people drink and loose it. Slow and steady. The way of the South if you ask me. Honesty and integrity goes a long way as well. I've experienced Sothern Hospitality and find it to be the way to live. Second Commandment says Love your neighbor as yourself. Shoot if we all did that no one would be starving, without shelter, in need of medical attention. I wouldn't let myself starve. I wouldn't kill or injure myself, I wouldn't steel from myself, and on and on and on. We should love and respect each other as the Lord Commands us to do. It would be a better world. But I'm not from this World. I'm waiting on Heaven where my Father the Lord is. He gave me a good earthly father too don't get me wrong. I'm just ready for no more pain and no more suffering, no more crying and no more world hunger. God says heaven is going to be like that. Sorry If I've scared you. I'm just speaking what's in my heart again. Have a good week.

I'm out in the County (Harrison) in Gulfport. The Lord has blessed me with about 10 acres. I can't do much mudding with a 2.5 liter 4 wheel drive but it is kinda fun getting her stuck. Hurrican Katrina did a number on the soft top but I got a new top and she looks good as new. I put some Jeep Grand Cherokee rims on it with some 31.5 tires that were on sale. There big enough. Sometimes when I make a sharp turn they rub a little bit. Other than that I only have 50K on the vehicle seeing how I'm deployed every 10 months with the military. This site is pretty cool. My cousin Ron has a site called REYMAH and it works exactly like this one. It has threads and all. You can send private messages and all as well. It's a Christian site with great conversations. People get caught up in Religion and it's not about that. God did not create religion, man did. God gave us His Word and his Son Jesus and that's what we should follow.
I've seen some great posts from athiest on there and they have some great questions. All the answers we need are right in the Bible. If we would just pick it up and read it.

Where are you from? Do you like your jeep? A lot of people wish they had something a little bigger or a little better.

Awesome guys

I really appreciate your advice and expertise. May God give you both a special blessing this week. If you guys have any prayer request let me know. We have services this morning. If we don't send the prayers up, God will not send the Blessings down. You two were my blessing today and I have a buddy coming over this afternoon to fix the problem.

Have a great week.

binaryking Yeah probably the flasher realy. Do your hazard lights work? On a 1997-2000 Jeep TJ, the flasher relay is attached to the steering column on the side closest to the center console. The relay is clamped in place and to remove it, you will need to take a firm grip of it and then slide it out by pushing it forward towards the firewall.

skeeter Yes there's a flasher, dunno where it is on the 99.

christian I forgot to put the year of my jeep. IT is a 1999 Jeep Wrangler, 4 wheel drive, 2.5 liter, 4 cylinder, with A/C and power steering. What do I need to do to get my turn signals to work and like I said earlier it is not the fuse. I changed it even though it was not broken and the signals still don't work. Can Anyone help me out there?
