|navret||first if you bought the red one congrats. if not reconsider, 4 dr. and 2010. 4 door rides a little nicer, i drove from nj to fl. ant times speeds were 80 to 85. with the options chose i still think, a 2010 could get you more options at a better price. i have an 08 sahara 31000 miles and not even a hint of death wobble. also check gearing on jeep, some complain about 3.21 gearing. let us know how you make out. that red looks good!|

29K+ was out of my budget and the ones I found were rare, but usually around 30K.
Here is one on Cars.com
2011 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, $30,645 - Cars.com
Also, an update. As mentioned, I bid my local dealer at or just below invoice according to Edmunds. The MSRP was 26,900, I bid 25,600. They offered me 25,800 with no further haggle, not too bad.

Very sharp Hiker! And, I'm jealous, Wrangler God's love you even more!
"I want my 2011 Wrangler Jeep NOW Daddy!"
"All right Wonka, how much for the JK?"
I like the rag top, but my wife wanted the hard top. I guess if there were one more option I wanted, it would be the dual top so we have the choice depending on seasons.
I thought about the color matched Saharah, with the new tan color, but the few I was seeing were breaking the bank.

|daggo66||Congrats! you should start a separate thread with pictures. I believe you are the first official 2011 on the forum!|

We just went through the same process (searching for incoming 2011 models) and just like you, the closest Dealer to us was the one that had a model arriving that matched most of the features we wanted (pretty much all the same options you listed, except it ours didn't have the Freedom Hardtop)... Well, we were at the Dealer within just a couple hours after it was delivered to them, and driving it home just a couple hours after that... Love It!!!!!

Anyway, on the options, seems most of what I looked at was, too many options I did not want, not enough, or almost right but price was too high. So, like I said, it was cool that this came here close to me, if it all works out?

|daggo66||I couldn't agree more. My wife has a Liberty so we have the family and storage angles covered. I love my 2dr. What are the options you are looking at?|

I'm hoping what you said turns out to be true. I think she will like it, just needs to grow on her. I am going for the two door. I like the room of the UL, but, the 4 door just does not grab me right aesthetically for some reason, especially with the top off. She would probably like the four door better for practicallity, but, practicality is what our other car is for!
There is a flame red en-route to our local dealer, that just happened to have the exact options I wanted, and it is weird because I have been watching them all over the country on Autotrader, Cars.com, etc. And I had yet to see one with the combination of options I wanted. Then it shows up right in our small home town! Fate? Wrangler God's watching out for me? I sent them an under invoice bid. I'm curious what the response will be and just how far I can test the Wrangler God's patience?

navret, yes, I have bounced back and forth on the saving money on the 2010. However, since my wife will be driving it mostly to work and back, and she is not as "thrilled" as I am to get one, I figure I better get the nicer interior with as many bells and whistles as I can afford!

|navret||i havn't looked under 2011 jeeps. got to ask, for what you intebd to do with yu jeep, why not grab a 2010, and save a few grand?|

|daggo66||DW is not an issue that you should be concerned about as it applies to stock. While some people have claimed to have experienced it on a stock Wrangler, it was most likely bump steer. The steering stabilizer was upgraded on the 2010 model. I highly doubt any other changes were made to the 2011. DW is an inherent issue with a solid front axle. I have nearly 30k on my 2009 and have not experienced anything even remotely close to it.|

2011 vs 2010 Suspension Parts Comparison, Anyone Looked?
I've been lurking here for weeks as I intend to get a 2011 JK most likely. I've been reading the pros and cons of jeeps for a while now, in particular things like Death Wobble, even at times on newer stock JK's. I've never owned a Jeep prior.
I realize the specs say the model years suspensions are identical. However, what I wondered is if any Wrangler veterans who have purchased new 2011s have actually crawled underneath to see if the parts they used look to be a higher quality at all? Or just any changes in general compared to the 2010 that are not listed in the marketing, if any? I imagine it is possible they made some modifications due to complaints but did not advertise it.
I'm excited to own one, but the DW, various quality concerns and dealer service issues you guys have discussed along with folks at other Jeep forums have me concerned to some degree.
Another question I have is What parts kit should I go with if I wanted a beefier suspension, but not necessarily a lift, as my main purpose would be street use to work and back? Sometimes we would hit the occasional "washboardy" dirt roads in the mountains. I don't intend to do the heavy duty rock crawling. I will probably keep the stock tires. I know, boring.
Thanks for any help and for all the great info. on this site!
