seadoons Thanks - I was actually able to figure out the problem on my own tonight. For some reason a few of the vacuum hoses were not plugged in to the correct actuators. They were all moving - just not at the right time. I tried moving the vacuum hoses around and PRESTO! Fixed it. All functions work correctly now! I guess the guy that owned it before me did the a/c work himself and didn't re-hook up the vacuum lines correctly.

03 RUBI Sounds like you need the FSM. There was somebody on this forum a while back that had links to get one. Use the search function and type in *FSM*.

Need help with a/c vacuum system

I recently purchased a '97 TJ. The a/c blows cold but it blows everywhere - dash, defrost, floor, etc. The vacuum system appears to be working and I am wondering if some of the vacuum lines are hooked up to the wrong motors making the sytem open and close the wrong doors.

A few questions:

1. I can feel that the system has a vacuum. If it doesn't have enough vacuum will the doors not operate properly?

2. I need a diagram that shows what color vacuum hose goes to what door.

Thanks!
