ClarkGriswold Thanks everyone for the feedback. It has the stock stereo with the stock subwoofer. I wonder if it works with the stock stereo. Hmmmm.

tylers yj It's a Menphis speaker product just get online they most likely had subs in there and probally took them out if not it's what your can turn up and make the subs hit harder turning it all the way down will turn them off if they are still in there

GREEN-MACHINE i copyed you picture and zoomed in on it the M inside the circle and the 6 - 16 x on the right side.. that is a sub woofer control i tried to copy the link but that web site wont let you copy any thing... even there link.

ColdSRT That looks like a remote amp gain from Memphis audio. I had one in my old truck. Not Memphis but same thing. The amp is most likely gone but that is what it was.

I don't recognize the logo.

It looks like a rheostat or potentiometer. If so, it could be used for anything from a blower to a light to a fast-idle control...
Maybe a sensitivity level control for the alarm?

What is this??

I recently purchased a 2008 Wrangler Unlimited. The previous owner had some aftermarket items installed on it. One of which is an alarm system.

Underneath the steering column there is a knob installed. I have no idea what it does.

Any ideas?
