thats a huge box....most 15" in a vented box is @ least 3cu.ft.
sound bar would be easy to install. but you would need to get one before you got speakers. some bars have more mounting depth than others, which can cause a issue when getting speakers.
what kind of wrangler do you have? alot have 4x6 in front dash which can give some sound but blow up easy w/ bass going through them. memphis makes a decent set of 4x6 for about $100 but i would sugest a amp to power them and cross them over @ least @ 150htz.

|TJeeper7||Well. I already have a 15" sub in a ventilated box. And a 1200 or so watt Sony xploid amp. I guess I just need speakers.|

i have a full blown sound system in my jeep, radio, 6 speakers, sub, amps. i work for a car audio shop. for a jeep it sounds great. but like said above there is alot of road noise etc
i alway have a amp in my jeep. i do this for several reasons. road noise. when it gets louder you turn up radio to hear it. issue w/ radio power is it can only go so loud before distortion and the road noise will hide it. thats why alot blow the speakers. the amp will let you get to a higher volume w/ keeping the sound clean. i've had the same system in my jeep for over 7y and still sounds great.
1) get nice speakers but NOT high end, dont get low end either. you wont be able to enjoy high-end/high quality anyway w/ road noise etc- probably stick to about $100/pair
2) amp everything..may cost more money but worth it in long run
3) find a decent radio ~$150 should do it. get you into something w/ sub controles mp3, usb etc. ~ USB is GREAT for jeeps or any vehicle that rides rough or off-roads. no skipping
hope that helps some. feel free to ask me anything

Ok not to come off on the wrong foot here but to be straight you own a soft top jeep
Your not going to get great sound there is to much road noise
It will sound great with your top up and sitting still but the second you take off your out put gets cut in half
There are to many resonant frequencies at hand
My rule of thumb with a jeep is to make it loud
Listening to speaks in a sound room is a good idea if you want to hear what they want to sell you everything sounds different in a vehicle and everything sounds even more different in a soft top jeep
Find a deck that floats your boat an then find some speaks that are loud.
Are you going to run a amp or just deck power, how many woofers , is your sub box vented or sealed.
You are more them welcome to pm me and I can help point you In The rite direction.

|Ibuildembig||First thing you need to do is get a capable head unit...pioneer is my preference and what I sell but you can decide for yourself. Then go to a real sound room and listen for yourself to decide what you like for speakers...don't take anyones word for it as we all have different ears. You can use your left over equipment to round it out|

I want more than just a premium sound system. I have a sub And amp from my previous jeep. However I had roll up windows and a hard top. Now, I have a real jeep with half doors and a soft top. But are there any good speakers. Also, it doesn't have a sound bar in the back. How difficult would that be to put in if I were to buy one?
