mudslinger150 Yeah I was really lucky to come across this deal....if not I for sure would not have a four wheeler. I've been having a lot of fun on it and came to realize that its a lot cheaper to smash and break this thing up vs. the Jeep . We have been on some trails with the four wheeler that the jeeps been on and just now realize how crazy it is that the jeep made it through!!

I'm now trying to look for a 2nd wheeler for my live in gf, so I can have a good excuse to get out and ride more . Vermont has a cool trail system for four wheelers called VASA, and it has more than 600 miles of trails. There is a small fee at the beginning of every year and you can ride to your hearts content.

anything like this in your states?? VASA is constantly having to prove that they are a good organization and that the VASA trails are a good thing to have in place. Seems like no one, wants to allow any further expansion of the trail system because no one wants to let anyone on their land....I guess if it were me i would donate a 50' corner of my 700 acre farm for an enforced trail system to live.

It's been awhile

Whats up WF, haven't been on for awhile now. I just wanted to stop by to say hello.

I've been consumed in the this 4-wheeler project for the last month or so; I purchased a 1991 Suzuki LT4WD. The wheeler came to me so I could work on it initially. The Customer complained that the wheeler's electric start was not working and he couldn't get the wheeler to start by pulling it either.

Long story short,

I found that the journal that holds the starter shaft that the starter gear slides on shattered. The customer didn't want to put the money into fixing the rig so I gave him $250 for it and decided to fix it myself.

Had the journal re welded, purchased new oil and oil filter, purchased magneto cover gasket, Recoil gasket, Front battery cover plastic, Air filter, re wired the head lights etc.... The wheeler is like brand new now with just over 600 miles on it . I put about 20 on it myself since its been up and running.

Here are some picture, and a few links to some youtube videos of it in action:
